So what’s all this about then? Clever Things was started yonks ago as a collective for like minded individuals to share and collaborate. At the time, a few other people thought it was a good idea and we went on to raise seed funding and developed Generation @ described by one investor as “a cross between the Masons and pyramid-selling” and by another as “LinkedIN and Facebook before it’s time”. Alas, Generation @ is no longer around but Clever Things remains…
Now it’s simply a home for smart innovative and interesting things I’ve found on the web – a kind of digital scrapbook/ archive. Some may be related to a current project, long running passion or passing amusement. But you’ll also find collections of things I despise and superior examples of dumbness.
So that’s it really. Nothing more and nothing less.
I’m slowly migrating all the stuff from the old blogs but it’s going to take some time….in the meantime you’ll find links to these legacies scattered around.
I don’t have an ego to massage or journalistic itches to scratch so I don’t care (or count) how many hits, uniques, back links or comments. If you find some of this useful that’s great. If you don’t or disagree that’s okay too.
